For this particular project, ATSPACE LTD was required to submit a fee proposal at the tender stage, which necessitated extensive communication with various individuals to secure the project. The primary objective from the outset was to successfully conduct Air Pressure Tests on each of the Residential Units to ensure compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.
The client required us to approach Air Testing on a floor-by-floor basis, making constant communication crucial to meet the tight deadlines set. Through careful planning and effective client preparation, we were able to achieve excellent results in a timely manner, which solidified our position as their preferred Air Testing Company.
Following the completion of the Residential Air Tests, there was a break of approximately 3 months before we were approached at the As Built Stage to undertake Commercial Air Testing. The first unit was a small retail space, while the second was a nursery.
On this occasion, testing was urgently required, even though our schedule was fully booked with other jobs. However, we view it as our responsibility to do everything we can to meet our clients' needs, and after some significant rearranging of our schedule, we managed to fit in the testing less than 3 days after it was quoted.
The client expressed great appreciation for our flexibility in accommodating the booking, and the Commercial Air Leakage Tests proceeded smoothly, resulting in a successful Building Regulations sign-off. All in all, another satisfied customer.
