Condensation Risk Assessment:
Making sure your build ups hold no risk of condensation. Get Compliant with Part C of the Building Regulations.
PSI Values are an expression of the heat lost at the corners and around the windows of your build. PSI values can be calculated by your SAP assessor- Enquire Now

U-Values are designed to measure the elements of the building’s fabric for heat loss. Essentially, they need to be assessed to find out how effective they are in preventing or stopping heat from transferring between inside and outside of a building.
Ideally, you want your U-Values to perform well as insulators, so the lower the U-value, the better. This means there is less energy needed to keep your home comfortable.
ATSPACE is fully equipped to ensure that you understand these regulations and meet the requirements needed to pass your regulations. We are closer to the deadline of 2050 net zero carbon emissions, and all these building compliances help pave the way.
U-Values relate to Part L of the Building Regulations and help ensure that your building’s impact on the environment is the best it can be.
As with all compliances, it’s best to get the advice at the earliest possible stage to ensure compliance is not only met, but also surpassed. It is far easier to do this than change things in retrospect. As energy prices increase, it is far better to have these under control now. The lower your U-Value, the cheaper your build will be to run.

U-Values don’t have to be complicated. They are here to measure the heat loss through the building's fabric. The reason why we have to assess U-Values is to ensure that they perform to, and above expectations with regards to the effectiveness of preventing or stopping heat from transferring inside and outside the building.
The lower your U-Value result, the better build-up of material for thermal performance you have. By having the u value calculations, we can quite simply use these in your Part L SAP assessment which in turn will yield better results.
There are other considerations you may want to look at such as PSI values as well as condensation risk assessments. To know more about these please take advantage and speak to one of our team.
