Testing for uncontrolled air leaks from inside a building to the outside and from the outside into the interior is known as air leakage. This is brought on by the material or membrane's structure or state, which permits "leakages" from liquids or gases. The rating is then compared to the highest result permitted, as specified in the approved documents. (Part L1A for residential and Part L2A for commercial properties).

You should engage an engineer to provide assistance at the design stage because this test will take place close to the conclusion of your construction.
