SAP, or Standard Assessment Procedure, relates to Part L of the Building Regulations. The government introduced it to calculate a building's energy and environmental performance. The SAP will also allow for easy comparison of similar style builds across the board. So, you can tell how eco-friendly your build will actually be. Your SAP will help determine the EPC Rating (Energy Performance Certificate) for your property.
A SAP Calculation is mandatory for all new builds, conversions and over glazed extensions.
There are two stages to SAP calculations: the first is completed at the design stage, and the second is completed at the as built stage. Work with ATSPACE at the earliest possible stage, and you can benefit from our wealth of knowledge!
