In the early morning light, an ATSPACE engineer set foot on the testing site, eager to begin the day's work. However, a surprise awaited – a power outage caused by an earlier glitch. This posed a challenge as critical equipment, including the blower door fan, pressure gauges, and airflow meters, lay dormant.

With a touch of innovation, our relationship manager proposed a creative workaround: completing a portion of the testing that day using a trusty generator stowed in our van, and rescheduling the remainder once power was restored. The client readily agreed, requesting updates on the day's progress.

And so, our engineer donned the role of an impromptu electrician, setting up the generator and connecting it to the equipment. While the generator had its limits, preventing some tests due to power constraints, our engineer meticulously recorded results and documented the process with photographs. In the spirit of going the extra mile, our engineer also conducted a thorough inspection, hunting for any potential sources of air leakage, and offering expert advice on tightening up the buildings.

As the day drew to a close, our engineer had completed approximately 60% of the testing, promptly relaying findings to our relationship manager. The relationship manager, in turn, kept the client informed about the project's status, even penciling in an alternative date for completing the remaining tests. The client, appreciating our flexibility and efficiency, expressed satisfaction with the interim results, extending gratitude to ATSPACE.

Fast forward to the following week, with power fully restored on-site, our engineer returned to wrap up the testing. It was all about meticulous precision – every test adhered to industry standards and regulations, with the buildings surpassing required performance levels. Armed with a comprehensive report featuring data and photographic evidence, our engineer submitted it to ATSPACE for rigorous quality assurance.

ATSPACE conducted a thorough review and swiftly endorsed the report, sending it to the client alongside an invoice for services rendered. The client was duly impressed by the report's quality and pinpoint accuracy, settling the invoice promptly.
