We as humans spend most of our time indoors, whether at home or even at work. And making the air we breathe as clean as possible is vital for our health and productivity. And the best way to make this possible is with a good ventilation system. It’s also a benefit for the building itself. Whether it’s a 1 bedroom flat or a large warehouse, ventilation helps prevent condensation, which itself can lead to damp or mould.

So, what are the benefits of a good ventilation system?

  1. 1. Stopping condensation – as mentioned above, condensation build-up can lead to the growth of mould and rot on surfaces. This can cause              health issues, such as respiratory problems and allergies, in many people. Having an effective ventilation system can prevent damp, which is the      main cause of these issues, and help reduce the risks of the issues mentioned.

  2. 2. Control the level of pollutants – indoor air quality in buildings, especially those situated in a congested city, can be more harmful than the air          outdoors. Ventilation systems prevent the build-up of these pollutants, including bacteria and unpleasant odours.

  3. 3. Air regulation – did you know that too much fresh air can increase energy costs? In some cases, a high volume of fresh air can flush out the           clean air and the buildings heat. Some ventilation systems allow you to control and regulate the air and the way it moves through the building.

  4. 4. Reducing temperature – this is a huge benefit for a busy office space or confined and small work areas. Where a room would usually get hot         and uncomfortable, a good ventilation system will help keep a room at a level temperature which is comfortable to work and live in. This creates a     more relaxed, productive environment.

  5. 5. Health benefits – good ventilation can have a massive impact on your health. The previously mentioned indoor air pollutants teamed with bad         ventilation can lead to various issues, such as headaches, asthma, allergies, sinusitis and even rashes. A good system reduces all these risks,         making it a safer working and living environment.
